Overview
The Process Engineer will provide operational and project engineering support to maintain reliable and compliant manufacturing and packaging equipment at the Hatfield facility. Responsibilities include ensuring operations adhere to the Quality System, GMP Guidelines, Industry Standards, and Eisai Corporate Standards. The role involves maintaining a safe working environment, ensuring product quality through procedural adherence, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing engineering expertise to support GMP and GEP compliance.
* Optimizing plant and equipment reliability and efficiency.
* Resolving complex technical problems and supporting technical staff.
* Participating in risk assessments, change management, deviation investigations, and audits.
* Developing SOPs and participating in device assessments.
* Defining maintenance regimes, managing external contractors, and managing spares.
* Leading or supporting engineering projects, including equipment selection, design, commissioning, and validation.
Qualifications include:
* HNC/HND/Degree in engineering (chemical, electrical, mechanical).
* Professional status or working towards (EngTech/IEng).
* Project management training (CAPM/PMQ) and understanding of Lean Six Sigma.
* Experience in GMP manufacturing within regulated facilities.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
