Job Description The Job Mission This is a hybrid role for candidates living within commutable distance to Bridgwater or Bristol, with relocation support available. You will provide mechanical engineering expertise to support delivery of complex systems across major nuclear new build programmes. Your future team depends on you to ensure technical alignment, constructability, and quality across mechanical scopes. ️ Coordinate design activities for mechanical equipment and plant layout Produce and revise technical specifications for new equipment scopes Manage technical queries, changes, and non-conformances within scope Interface with piping, HVAC, civil and wider engineering teams Review and approve contractor deliverables and design submissions Maintain and update 3D models and technical documentation ️ Ensure compliance with nuclear safety and quality standards Track engineering risks and coordinate mitigation actions
