As a Florist, you will be responsible for designing and arranging floral displays for various occasions, including weddings, events, and everyday celebrations. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of aesthetics, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
Responsibilities
* Create stunning floral arrangements that meet customer specifications and enhance the overall aesthetic of the shop.
* Assist customers in selecting flowers and arrangements that suit their needs, providing expert advice on care and maintenance.
* Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the shop, ensuring all floral products are displayed attractively.
* Manage inventory by ordering flowers and supplies as needed, keeping track of stock levels to minimise waste.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during busy periods, particularly around holidays and special events.
* Sell floral products and related items while providing excellent customer service to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Skills
* Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish or other languages is an advantage for engaging with a diverse clientele.
* Knowledge of gardening and floral care techniques to provide informed recommendations to customers.
* Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to sell products confidently while understanding customer needs and preferences.
* A creative flair for design with an eye for colour combinations and arrangement styles that appeal to customers.
