This is perfect if you’re an experienced teacher looking for balance, or an ECT eager to build confidence and relationships with schools. You’ll deliver engaging pre-planned Geography, manage classrooms with warmth and consistency, and leave a lasting impression - even when you’re just there for the day. Build positive relationships with not only students, but schools and departments; candidates who involve themselves with the wider school-community often springboard into permanent roles.
What you’ll be doing
* Delivering pre-set Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Making the curriculum engaging—whether it’s rivers, tectonic plates, or population studies
* Managing behaviour with calm confidence and a positive approach
* Supporting students’ progress while maintaining a professional, approachable style
* Feeding back to permanent staff to ensure continuity
What we’re looking for
* UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
* Experience teaching Geography in UK secondary schools
* Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
* Flexibility, adaptability, and a good sense of humour (essential in supply!)
* A positive, reliable, and professional approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
