New Hall School in Chelmsford requires a Head of Swimming to join their team.

A well-qualified, outstanding swimming coach and teacher is required to take the leading role of Head of Swimming in the continued development of swimming as one of New Hall’s major sports. As part of its thriving Swim Programme, the School runs a Swim Club accredited by Swim England East Region. The successful candidate will ideally have the following qualifications: SEQ Level 2 Teaching Swimming and Swim England Swimming Coach Certificate.
The Head of Swimming will oversee and deliver an all-year-round programme for swimmers from club to county and national standard, including galas, meets and international tours. During School holidays, the Head of Swimming will work with children attending club training and sport camps.
New Hall School offers an exceptional working environment, set in a stunning Grade I listed building that is the former Tudor palace of Beaulieu. With a staff of around 300, New Hall is a warm, welcoming and supportive community. A new London rail station will open in 2025, at New Hall’s front gate: Stratford, 26 minutes; London Liverpool Street, 34 minutes.
