Position details
As an Assistant Compliance Officer, you'll be supporting with the compliance function of the Street Works Team and ensuring that work carried out on our highway keeps people safe.
This will primarily involve assisting the Inspectors with conducting inspections on works being carried out by utility and highway contractors in accordance with the NRSWA Code of Practice for Street Works Inspections and the Specification for the Reinstatement of Openings in Highways (SROH). Duties will also include assisting the Street Works Compliance Team Leader with administrative Compliance Operations.
The work helps to ensure Telford and Wrekin Council manages the road network effectively and keeps disruption to a minimum while ensuring all works undertaken within our boroughs network are compliant with NRSWA legislation.
