Overview
You’ll be joining a thriving, vibrant and energetic team of two permanent vets, and a strong nursing team. Our practice provides an excellent range of facilities (including ultrasound) giving you access to all the equipment and space and support you need to give the very best care for your patients. We ideally want you to be happy with a good mix of theatre time and consulting time.
Responsibilities
* Establish and run weight clinics and diabetes clinics.
* Assist with overseeing our pharmacy and ordering processes.
* Provide effective communication with clients; case handovers and communication; liaising with all colleagues to facilitate gold standard patient care.
* Prioritise and provide safe and effective patient care in a timely manner.
* Support patients undergoing general anaesthesia and sedation.
* Facilitate diagnostic procedures, including radiography and ultrasound.
* Develop and maintain your own core client base, nurse-led clinics and perform schedule 3 procedures.
Qualifications & Skills
* Clinical coaching experience is desirable but not essential. A willingness to train as a coach is also desirable and training will be funded.
* You will have a varied and engaging caseload and will provide passionate and dedicated care for our patients.
Hours, benefits & location
* You will work 40 hours per week, one Saturday in four, weekday shifts to be agreed, with paid lunch breaks.
