Zimpli Kids are pioneers in the kids’ bath and sensory play category, and we are looking to hire an experienced Key Account Manager to join our successful team. As part of a growing company, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strategic relationships with key customers in the UK & Ireland, increasing customer base, driving sales growth and identifying new opportunities.
At Zimpli Kids, we design and manufacture some of the most unique and innovative children’s bath and sensory play toy brands on the market! We strive to create fun ‘Just Add Water’ products that safely enhance both children’s and parent’s experiences of bath time and sensory play time.
Our ever so famous Gelli Baff and Slime Baff; two Intertek certified biodegradable powders that transform water into goo or slime and back again are the first toys to ever be accredited as skin safe, by the British Skin Foundation. We manufacture most of our products in our ISO9001, ISO14001 and SMETA accredited UK factory and currently distribute to over 40 countries worldwide.
Job: Key Account Manager
Reporting to: Managing Director
Responsibilities Include:
· Building and efficiently maintaining strong relationships with key national accounts
· Seeking out and identifying new business opportunities, to develop them into profitable and sustainable relationships
· Meeting and exceeding sales targets, driving profitable revenue growth and increasing market share
· Negotiating contracts and pricing with key national accounts
· Monitoring market trends, competitor activity and industry developments
· Attending UK and international tradeshows
· Effectively communicating and collaborating with internal teams, to ensure customer requirements are met
· Track and evaluate sales metrics, and suggest actions to improve sales performance
Successful Candidates will have to show:
· Proven track record of identifying and developing key accounts in health & beauty or toys
· Confident and friendly face-to-face and telephone manner
· A passion for business development and a desire to attract new customers
· Articulate with strong presentation, and negotiation skills
· Ability to deliver excellent customer experience, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong analytical, negotiation and organisational skills, with a keen eye for detail
· Strong business acumen with a problem-solving attitude
· Ability to travel as required
