Cluster Financial Controller - Manchester ROLE: Cluster Financial Controller SALARY: Competitive Salary LOCATION: Based from our Deansgate Site Fraser Hospitality are looking for a Cluster Financial Controller. Based from our Deansgates Site, you will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting, financial operations and provides support to operational managers across the properties. You will also be responsible for producing and submitting accurate monthly P&Ls and Balance Sheets for the hotels in-line with the tight monthly deadlines. What you will be doing : Day to day financial reporting and operational duties Ensure compliance with internal policies & procedures Review of cash banking & safeguarding of cash floats in operation Producing bank reconciliations and bank clearing Support junior Finance staff within the hotel Coordinate accounts payable and accounts receivable functions Preparation of monthly financial statements, forecasting and commentary on variance Monthly balance sheet reconciliation and preparation of audit pack Analyse & interpret of monthly results, key performance indicators and cost control by department. Assist Senior Management Accountant and General Managers with annual budgets Prepare P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow reports for corporate reporting to strict deadlines Assist with property audit - internal and external, and other consultants and bank Work with other finance team and share best practices Prepare, submit and settle VAT returns and City tax returns within required deadline What we're looking for: This role is suitable for a part qualified accountant Demonstrable experience in financial management experience with background in hospitality or service-based industry an advantage Proven capability to communicate Financial Information to various stakeholders, especially with non-financial background An eye for detail and the ability to identify errors and offer workable solutions Strong systems skills with a mindset of continuous improvement Personable, positive, dynamic professional who works flexibly and collaboratively to achieve deadlines, with "a can get job" done attitude A disciplined approach to production and documentation of work LI-CS1 IND1 In addition to competitive rates of pay we offer: Heavily discounted Staff & Friends and Family Rates at Frasers Hospitality.
