D365 Functional Consultant – Contract
My client is based in Cardiff and you would be required on site for the first 1-2 weeks, then you can work hybrid / remote.
I’m working with a really interesting client who are looking for a D365 Functional Consultant to support ongoing system improvements.
This is NOT an implementation role – it’s all about BAU optimisation, configuration, and refining an existing system.
💼 The Role
* Work on a D365 system implemented ~2 years ago
* Focus on closing gaps in processes and system functionality
* Hands-on configuration work (not just advisory)
* Collaborate with internal teams & project stakeholders
* Support move from standard costing → FIFO
🎯 What They’re Looking For
* Strong D365 Functional experience
* Proven background in BAU / post-implementation environments
* Someone hands-on with config changes
* A “Swiss army knife” profile – adaptable across modules
* Ideally Supply Chain focused (over Finance)
📍 Key Details
* 3-month contract (likely extension)
* Cardiff-based
* Onsite first 1–2 weeks, then hybrid/remote
* Start ASAP (next week or the week after)
* 9-day fortnight (every other Friday off 🙌)
