Job Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible administrator to provide direct administrative support to the Bed Manager and senior members of the multidisciplinary team. The role is part‑time, 22.5 hours per week, with a flexible hybrid pattern (2 days in the office, 3 days from home). The position will run Monday to Friday with working hours agreed by the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide administrative support to the Bed Manager and the multidisciplinary team.
* Manage Outlook diaries, schedule meetings and take minutes.
* Coordinate correspondence and liaise with staff and external contacts with professionalism, compassion, and patience.
* Prioritise workload and work efficiently under pressure.
* Handle confidential information in accordance with GDPR and the Data Protection Act.
Qualifications & Experience
* Educated to A‑levels or an equivalent qualification, or significant relevant experience in a related field.
* Experience of working in an administrative role, preferably within an NHS or healthcare setting.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams) and audio/copy typing.
* Experience in minute taking and servicing meetings.
* Knowledge of GDPR, the Data Protection Act and safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults.
* Desirable: formal secretarial training (e.g. RSA) or other business administration qualification.
* Desirable: knowledge of the Criminal Justice System and mental disability offenders.
* Desirable: previous experience in a mental health setting.

Contract & Working Pattern
Permanent, band 4. Salary £25,147 to £27,596 per year, pro‑rata.
