The job itself
As a Catering Assistant, you'll be part of a dynamic, fast-paced team, contributing to a positive and friendly work environment. You will need to work to a high standard without supervision, and be willing to attend necessary food hygiene and first aid courses.
Duties to include:
1. Working alongside the school cook to assist in the preparation of food
2. Preparing the dining area
3. Serve lunches to pupils and staff
4. Assist in washing crockery, cutlery and serving utensils
5. Maintaining a hygienic, safe and pleasant environment for pupils and staff
6. Be organised and able to work on own initiative.
