Private Client Tax Senior
Warrington
£35,000 - £45,000
An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a long-established and highly respected boutique tax firm in Warrington, working closely with the Tax Director.
This firm is known for its deep client relationships - many going back over 50 years - and a traditional yet evolving culture.
With the firm currently undergoing office renovations and planning for future growth, this is an exciting time to join and play a key role in its development.
As a Private Client Tax Senior, you will:
* Work directly alongside the Tax Director to manage a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, family trusts, and long-standing client businesses.
* Handle personal tax compliance, including self-assessment tax returns and trust tax returns.
* Get involved in client advisory work, particularly around trusts, estate planning, and inheritance tax (as your experience allows).
* Take on increasing responsibility, with the opportunity to develop into a managerial role as the firm grows.
Why join this firm?
* Join a small, close-knit team with a strong reputation and an extremely loyal client base, some dating back to the 1960s.
* Be part of a firm that is discreet, trusted, and relationship-led, while also looking to modernise and grow its advisory capabilities.
* Work directly with a supportive, long-standing leadership team including a hands-on Tax Director and the firm's founder.
* Benefit from 25 days annual leave plus extra time off over Christmas and New Year, on-street parking, and an office currently being renovated for the future.
* Potential to develop into a managerial position as you grow with the firm.
What you'll need to succeed:
* Good knowledge of personal tax, ideally with some exposure to trusts and estates.
* Experience working with private clients or family businesses in a professional services environment.
* A collaborative, thoughtful approach and willingness to contribute to both compliance and advisory areas.
* Flexibility to work mostly from the office, with ad hoc home working when needed.
