THE ROLE
Corporate Lawyer to join the growing Manchester office.
Work to include a broad mix of corporate work which could include M&A, corporate finance, equity capital markets, private equity, joint ventures and general corporate advisory work.
You will advise clients ranging from start-ups through to substantial private companies and PLCs on a broad range of corporate issues and transactions and much of your work will have an international aspect.
Depending on experience, you will either support partners and other members of the team, or you will work on your own matters largely unsupervised.
ABOUT YOU
With 2PQE+, you will have a good background in transactional work and also demonstrate an understanding of, and an interest in business development. Given the responsibilities of this role, it's likely that you will have:
1. Good academics
2. Experience of transactional work
3. Evidence of understanding what is needed to help grow and develop a corporate practice
4. Willingness to initiate and participate in marketing and business development activities
