Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Evening Care Assistant to join our team in Havant, United Kingdom. As an Evening Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing essential support and care to our clients in their homes during the evening hours.
1. Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
2. Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to clients' dietary requirements
3. Perform light housework to maintain a clean and safe living environment
4. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
5. Accompany clients to evening appointments or social activities when required
6. Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
7. Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or wellbeing
8. Maintain accurate records of care provided and any incidents or concerns
9. Collaborate with other care team members to ensure continuity of care
10. Respond appropriately to emergencies and seek assistance when necessary
Qualifications
11. Genuine passion for caring for others and a compassionate nature
12. Previous experience in a care assistant role is preferred but not essential
13. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
14. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
15. Physical fitness to assist clients with mobility and personal care tasks
16. Reliability and punctuality, with a strong work ethic
17. Basic first aid knowledge (training can be provided)
18. Valid driving licence and access to own vehicle (preferred)
19. Flexibility to work evening shifts and occasional weekends
20. Willingness to undergo a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
21. Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and dignity at all times
22. Ability to follow care plans and adhere to company policies and procedures

23. Competitive pay: £13.25 per hour between 09:30 - 18:00 on weekdays, £14.25 per hour on evenings, early mornings and weekends.
