Head of Data Salary: Up to £78,785 per annum, dependent on skills and experience (includes a 7.5% market force supplement) Hours: 35 per week Contract type: Permanent Closing date: Midnight, Sunday 3rd August 2025 The Role We are seeking a Head of Data to join our Regent’s IT leadership team. You will lead the day-to-day management and evolution of the data team, including the development and operations of a comprehensive suite of data dashboards and reports used for external data outputs (including HESA statutory returns) and internal data reporting across the whole university. The University is undergoing transformational technology change in this space, and you will also help lead the technical strategic thinking and the storytelling to the business to gain buy-in to a transformational roadmap for the area. You will play a key leadership IMPACT role in creating the Universities ‘data platform for the future’. To be successful, you should have a background of leading a Data/BI team formed of data professionals and experience in managing data assets. You should be confident in your ability to engage with a variety of different stakeholders to develop dashboards that provide strategic and operational insights. In addition, you should have a strong knowledge of database management systems and proficiency in data analysis tools and languages.
