Overview
St Modwen's Catholic Primary School is a friendly and welcoming school serving a supportive Catholic community in the parish of Ss Mary and Modwen, Burton. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking and committed Class Teacher/ECT from September 2026 for a 1 x Full-Time maternity-cover fixed-term contract.
Responsibilities
* teach to high standards with a focus on outstanding progress for all pupils
* demonstrate excellent classroom practice and strong subject knowledge across the primary curriculum
* provide effective communication with parents, school staff and external agencies
* contribute to the wider Catholic Life of the school as a dedicated team player
* use tracking of pupil progress and pupil premium funding where appropriate
