We seek a motivated Apprenticeship Skills Coach to support Level 3-5 Coaching Professional and Leadership apprenticeships.
As an independent vocational education provider, we are looking for positive, dynamic individuals eager to help others develop through apprenticeships. This role involves managing a remote caseload, delivering high-quality coaching, tailored support, and tracking progress to ensure successful apprenticeship outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coach and mentor learners on Level 3-5 Coaching Professional and Leadership/Management standards.
* Deliver engaging 1:1 coaching sessions and group learning via virtual platforms.
* Prepare learners for End-Point Assessment (EPA) and ensure timely completion.
* Track progress and implement interventions to maintain engagement.
* Coordinate with employers to align training with business needs and apprenticeship criteria.
* Maintain accurate records compliant with funding and Ofsted standards.
* Provide pastoral support and motivation to learners facing challenges.
* Stay updated with industry trends to improve delivery and outcomes.
* Prepare, review, and agree on assessment plans with candidates.
* Create learner portfolios to meet standards and submit on time.
* Conduct monthly learner visits, either face-to-face or remotely, for support.
* Conduct employer visits for progress reviews.
Requirements:
* Vocational expertise in management, leadership, and business with a passion for coaching future leaders and professionals.
* Own transport and ability to cover the South if required (remote delivery).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to prioritize and manage workload, including travel for visits.
* Ability to deliver training sessions to groups and individuals on Apprenticeship standards.
* Organized and methodical approach.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Self-motivated and team-oriented.
* Good literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE A-C or equivalent).
* TAQA or Assessors award (or willingness to work towards).
* NVQ/Apprenticeship L2 or L3 qualification (preferred but not essential).
Additional desirable experience:
* Experience coaching or training learners in apprenticeship or educational settings.
* Experience delivering Coaching Professional Level 3-5 and/or leadership/management programmes.
* Recognized assessor qualification (e.g., CAVA, TAQA, A1).
