ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will support our Production Bakery by preparing and packaging all decorated products, reflecting our commitment to excellence and quality. You will also be expected to:
* Pull, pack and label required products according to daily production demands and/or targets.
* Monitor and report any issues related to product quality or discrepancies.
* Ensure products are consistently boxed, sealed and labelled in line with company standards.
* Use all packaging machinery and equipment safely and communicate any issues to your Line Manager.
* Manage stock rotation and ensure products are stored using FIFO.
* Adhere to all Food Safety and Health & Safety guidelines at all times, maintaining a safe workplace for you and your team, whilst producing quality products for our customers
* Clean and organise all food product packing workstations daily in line with Food Safety, Health & Safety and company guidelines.
* Monitor and report low inventory levels to prevent shortages and support with stock counts.
* Follow all standard operating procedures for food handling and packaging requirements.
* Support production requirements by meeting daily packaging targets. Ensure accurate levels of stock are available for packaging needs and actively minimise waste.
* Support new ways of working to improve production efficiency, reduce waste and enhance product quality and complete other tasks as assigned to support the wider team.
ABOUT YOU
* Strong attention to detail and able to work in an extremely organised manner. Ability to handle repetitive tasks efficiently.
* Adaptable approach to varying working hours and production demands, with a commitment to completing all daily tasks in a timely manner.
* Dedication to maintaining high standards at all times with a focus on promoting quality.
* Team-orientated with strong interpersonal and timekeeping skills, to support a positive, collaborative and productive team environment.
* Familiar with UK Food Safety and Health & Safety guidelines and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment at all times, in line with our company guidelines.
* Ability to work on your feet for extended periods, handle physically demanding tasks, and work comfortably in chilled and frozen environments from time-to-time.

Pay: £12.21-£12.70 per hour
