Role Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Executive Director, Investor Relations & External Communications to join our Finance team at Autolus. This leader will be responsible for Autolus’ investor relations and external communications strategy. S/he will play a critical role in developing and communicating Autolus’ value proposition by working with the company’s internal cross-functional teams to ensure that critical messaging and routine quarterly reporting are delivered to all business-critical stakeholders, conveying competitive advantage and differentiation for Autolus and raising investor confidence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop clear and compelling messaging targeted at the investment community to position Autolus as a leading investable cell therapy company.
2. Develop and drive a company IR & external communications strategy and plan.
3. Develop and implement performance metrics for the IR & external communications function.
4. Build effective relationships with government and regulatory stakeholders to represent Autolus and influence healthcare policy.
5. Establish relationships with KOLs, thought leaders, and advisory boards to promote Autolus’ value proposition.
6. Coordinate with internal teams (Clinical, Regulatory, Business Development, Strategy, Legal, Finance) to meet communication goals and deadlines.
7. Utilize external communication channels to deliver consistent messages and maintain employer brand.
8. Monitor market intelligence, regulatory conditions, and the competitive environment for opportunities and threats.
9. Participate in meetings with executive teams, board members, and investor communities.
10. Create presentations, press releases, and communication materials for earnings, industry events, and investor meetings.
11. Monitor analyst reports and communicate key messages to senior management.
12. Serve as the primary contact for the investment community.
13. Maintain relationships with stock exchange representatives.
14. Organize conferences, roadshows, earnings calls, and investor meetings.
15. Provide feedback on investor perceptions and views on management and financial results.
16. Represent investor community views in corporate strategy development.
17. Assist in producing annual reports, SEC filings, and proxy statements.
