Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Enfield, Greater London
Salary/Benefits: £25k - £36k + Training & Benefits
We are recruiting in the South East of England for a Water Hygiene Engineer who can hit the ground running. You will be joining a successful and medium-sized outfit, who offer good room for progression and training. Daily duties will consist of pre-planned ACOP L8 compliance tasks, including: TMV servicing, tank inspections and showerhead descales. It would be advantageous to have close access to the M25 for easier travel across the region. The successful candidate can expect competitive salaries and benefits packages.
You will be travelling across: Enfield, Ilford, Chigwell, Cheshunt, Epping, Harlow, Barking, Dagenham, Romford, Hornchuch, Grays, Tilbury, Erith, Dartford, Bexleyheath, Sidcup, Bromley, Orpington, Sevenoaks, Caterham, Epsom, Mitcham, Kingston upon Thames, Southall, Basildon, Harrow, Wembley, Slough, Hayes, Watford, St Albans, Hatfield, Potters Bar.
Experience / Qualifications:
* Experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer
* Working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
* Will ideally have experience working across a variety of client sites
* It would be advantageous to have undertaken industry-related training courses
* Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
* Hardworking attitude
The Role:
* Attending a range of premises to complete pre-planned ACOP L8 compliance tasks
* Showerhead descales
* TMV servicing and failsafe checks
* Flushing of little-used outlets
* Inspections, cleans and disinfections of cold water storage tanks
* Water sampling
* Temperature monitoring
* Producing regular service reports
* Representing the company in a professional manner
