Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Fryer to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of fried foods while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. This role is essential in delivering delicious meals to our customers and maintaining the efficiency of our kitchen operations.
Duties
* Prepare ingredients and ensure all food items are ready for cooking.
* Operate frying equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
* Cook a variety of fried dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards.
* Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food is cooked properly.
* Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area, including regular cleaning of fryers and work surfaces.
* Assist in meal preparation for other kitchen staff as needed.
* Follow food safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure the quality of all food served.
* Collaborate with other kitchen team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant setting.
* Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques.
* Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
* Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
