Our client is well established and fast-growing national outlet. Due to recent contract wins they are not looking to recruit a smart and commercially focussed LEV Engineer based in and around Stockport area. The successful candidate will hold the P601 qualification and significant experience in carrying out local exhaust ventilation assessments. The role will entail carrying out work on a varied site bases throughout the UK, so the candidate must be prepared to travel extensively. Consideration will be given to applications from Stretford, Ashton-under-Lynne, Altrincham, Macclesfield and the surrounding areas.
Requirements
* The successful candidate will hold the P601 qualification.
* Have hands on experience in carrying out L.E.V testing on a varied site base.
* Come from a strong technical, consultancy, Health & Safety, water and chemical background.
* Hold the general Health and Safety certificate (e.g. – NEBOSH Certificate) would be advantageous.
* Building and maintaining a good rapport with clients.
* Have good client facing, IT and organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Visiting sites and carrying out Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) and testing indoor air quality.
* Testing Emissions, reviewing and getting involved with assessment and approving.
* Liaising with clients on a regular basis – dealing with issues effectively and appropriately.
* Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with the Health & Safety procedures and legislation.
* Presentations to staff, company and contractors regarding occupational hygiene.
In general, the successful applicant will be versatile, flexible, competent and have the ability to carrying out the work effectively and within timeline.
