Senior HR Advisor

Location: Bridgwater

Bilfinger UK is a leading engineering and maintenance provider, supporting customers across the chemical & petrochemical, nuclear, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals & biopharma, power & energy, utilities, renewables and food & beverage markets. We enhance the efficiency of assets, ensuring a high level of availability and reducing maintenance costs.

Main Responsibilities

* To provide a professional human resources advice and support to management in full alignment of business objectives. The job maintains a link between management and employees and provides a catalyst for implementing change and most appropriate practice. The role is measured by the ability to provide efficient and effective first line support and advice to line managers in an evolving and constantly changing environment.
* Manage the referencing process for all new starters, verifying all information to ensure it is accurate, corresponds to application information and aligned to BUK HR Policy and UK regulatory requirements.
* Provide support to the Visa application processes to enable key employees from other Bilfinger entities to mobilise to HPC site in accordance with timescales.
* Monitor and chase information related to HR processes to minimise delays in site resourcing and mobilisation.
* Respond to all HR queries to provide accurate and appropriate information or guidance, or escalation as appropriate.
* Review and input all appropriate data entered onto HR and finance systems/databases to ensure accurate and real-time information is available.
* Deliver highly responsive administrative support to the HRD and Operational Leads to resolve people and process issues.
* Produce HR Management information to meet standard and ad-hoc reporting requirements
* Identify and suggest opportunities to improve the HR processes and procedures to reflect best practice and remove barriers to efficiency.



Role Qualifications and requirements

* Degree qualification in HR or related subject
* Working towards CIPD qualification
* Based full time on site 5 days a week
