Blairgowrie Support Workers - Young People Transitioning Service
Earn up to £24,307.67 per year pro rata. Full time positions available; part time will be considered.
We are looking for individuals who have a passion to support young people through their transition into adulthood. This could include college support, being in their first tenancy, enhancing life skills and supporting group activities. You will provide social, emotional and practical support to meet young people’s agreed outcomes. If you are enthusiastic about helping people to live their best lives, apply now to join our team.
Responsibilities
* Work with colleagues as part of an effective and efficient team to support vulnerable people.
* Communicate and work well with our supported people to provide individual care and maintain appropriate relationships.
* Be responsible in supporting individuals throughout activities, giving positive feedback and encouragement.
Requirements & Qualifications
* No previous experience required; full training provided.
* Fully funded SVQ2 in Health & Social Care (completed with in-house SVQ support).
* Fully funded PVG & 1st year SSSC registration paid by Ark.
* Experience in Care roles is an advantage but not essential; training will be provided.
