National Account Executive – Tesco Group
National Account Executive to support the Tesco Group account within Cereal Partners Sales team based in Welwyn Garden City.
Location
Welwyn Garden City – hybrid working, approximately 1-2 flexible days per week in office.
Salary & Benefits
£30k – £35k depending on experience, potential discretionary annual bonus, 12 flexible days on top of 25 days annual holiday, 2 paid volunteering days, generous pension scheme, focus on personal development and growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and agree customer baselines with Sales Analyst at required customer/EAN level.
* Develop promotional plans including revenue, trade spend, promotion activation details, timing, mechanics and estimated amount sold on deal.
* Develop and continuously improve customer investment plans with pay‑for‑performance mindset.
* Support timely and accurate execution of Customer Plans, provide excellent communication to customers, complete required documentation and alignment for perfect execution.
* Work with Category and Marketing teams to facilitate best‑in‑class category strategies and activation, shape selling stories, marketing in‑market activation, performance.
* Request completion of relevant customer admin with Sales Admin Team via Sales Admin Portal (Samples, New Line Forms, Artwork, Purchase Orders).
* Support preparation and input into all relevant internal planning processes (weekly, monthly, quarterly) using multiple data sets.
* Complete promotional pre‑ and post‑evaluation and optimisation to drive ROI, input to QIR.
* Support management of trade spend actuals, attendance at trade spend review and support SFE with accrual management and changes.
* Communicate with field ops for in‑market execution; provide stories, briefs, etc.
Qualifications & Experience
* Commercial experience in FMCG sector.
* Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
* Strong analytical skills and use of insightful information.
* Solid understanding of commercial and financial situations.
* Experience in forecasting, sales, and negotiation beneficial.
* Comfortable working collaboratively and cross‑functionally.
* Strong and flexible communication skills.
* Organised, excellent planning and prioritising skills.
* Curiosity, initiative to solve problems and overcome barriers.
