We have an excellent full-time SEND Teacher opportunity (maternity leave cover, starting February 2026) at a well-respected 11-16 secondary school in Romsey.
The school is happily open to part-time arrangements for the right candidate.
The salary range is approximately £32,916 – £45,352 (Full Time Equivalent) depending on experience.

Role Highlights
In this role you will:
* Plan and deliver high-quality, tailored teaching for pupils with a diverse range of SEND needs.
* Collaborate closely with the Assistant Head of inclusion, SENCO, support staff, families and the wider school community to ensure every child receives the support they need.
* Create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment that promotes both learning and wellbeing.
* Contribute to the wider life of the school and uphold the values of inclusion, respect and excellence.

Who We Are Looking For
You will be an ideal fit if you:
* Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and have experience of working with pupils with SEND.
* Are passionate, patient and steadfast in your commitment to inclusive education.
* Display strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Are adept at adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs and differentiate effectively.
