These are three Full-time, Permanent contracts which will require the successful applicants to work Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week. These are exciting opportunities to work within the Housing Property Services technical team. One post is for a Technical Officer to manage the day-to-day responsive repairs within a set area. This role’s responsibilities will include inspecting work, raising job orders, liaising with contractors, liaising with tenants, and checking that all repairs are carried out to a high standard.
The successful candidate will operate under the supervision and line management of the Senior Technical Officer.
You will have:-
The willingness to work occasionally outside normal working hours, for example to attend meetings.
The willingness to undertake any training and development associated with this role, as and when required.
Access to own transport to travel across the borough for appointments required.
There will be a need to climb ladders, e.g. to access loft spaces to check insulation, assist tenants in getting the correct diagnosis and information at inspection, etc. Training can be provided.
