Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to join our team. The role involves providing expert psychiatric care to adults, enhancing mental health services, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and evaluations of adult patients.
2. Develop personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and clinical guidelines.
3. Provide ongoing psychiatric treatment and medication management for individuals with various mental health disorders.
4. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and nurses, to coordinate care.
5. Participate in clinical supervision, case conferences, and team meetings to review patient progress.
6. Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated in the field of psychiatry.
Qualifications:
* Medical degree from an accredited institution.
* Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry.
* Completion of residency training in Psychiatry.
* Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Psychiatrist.
* Experience in providing psychiatric care to adult patients with diverse needs.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care and mental health advocacy.
