The Role
We are seeking enthusiastic, dedicated, and professional team members who continually reflect on their practice and professional growth. Suitable applicants will ideally have a high level of interpersonal skills enabling them to work collaboratively with staff members to meet the needs of students.
As an Education Assistant - Mainstream you would be responsible for assisting with the care and supervision of students during class activities and in the delivery of planned education programs, with the ability to assist in teaching literacy, numeracy, and social skills. In this role, you will ideally collaborate and work in a team environment, possess good written and oral communication skills to enable the implementation of explicit teaching techniques, of individual or small group programs, as well as display the ability to support general health and well-being of students.
Suitable applicants should be organised and be able to use their initiative to assist with the preparation and maintenance of the learning environment and managing resources and equipment used in the classroom.
