We are seeking a Head of Digital Commerce & Insights to lead the digital commerce strategy for GPN Europe. The role involves developing and executing strategies to scale existing businesses and explore new retail models, platforms, and partnerships for growth. You will oversee key digital channels in Europe, manage digital budgets, and collaborate across functions and markets to drive excellence and capability building.
This position is based in London, reporting to the E-Commerce Director for Europe within the E-Commerce Centre of Excellence. It requires strong networking and communication skills to influence a multi-stakeholder environment across Europe. You will build and lead a high-performing team and work closely with marketing, commercial, and digital teams to implement best practices and innovative initiatives.
* Develop and execute the Europe Marketplace strategy, including Amazon Continental Europe, Amazon UK, and other marketplaces like Bol and Decathlon, along with expansion into new markets.
* Lead the Pureplay & Bricks & Clicks strategies, supporting local retail growth objectives.
* Collaborate on Social Commerce and Q Com initiatives, building internal and external partnerships.
* Manage performance and reporting for GPN Europe's Digital Commerce channels (excluding DTC).
* Lead the Data, Analytics & Insights strategy, deploying tools and insights to inform decisions and align with global initiatives.
* Drive the Digital Shelf Optimization to enhance brand visibility and availability online.
* Build and develop a high-performing team across marketplaces, data, and insights functions.
* Partner with DTC and Retail Media teams to develop collaborations and influence strategies.
* Work with cross-functional teams including marketing, brand, supply, and tech.
* Evaluate and collaborate with agencies and partners across digital channels.
* Provide thought leadership and innovate to maximize digital growth aligned with the 3-year strategy.
Skills required:
* 5+ years of e-commerce experience, with Amazon expertise essential. Offline retail experience preferred.
* Commercial mindset, strong negotiation, and strategic thinking skills.
* Excellent communication, networking, and stakeholder management skills.
* Action-oriented with the ability to manage complexity and drive decisions.
* Growth mindset and focus on continuous improvement.
* Knowledge of digital marketing and retail media preferred.
