We are recruiting full‑time/part‑time Administrators for the Home First Team. As a Home First Administrator you will support managers and senior clinical staff with administrative, clerical, and secretarial duties to ensure the smooth running of the service.
Main duties of the job
* Support managers and senior clinical staff by overseeing, inputting and processing data using computer systems such as Microsoft Office, Outlook, Mosaic and RIO.
* Liaise with Hospital Discharge Teams to coordinate discharges to the Home First Service and allocate visits generated to the team.
* Act as a point of contact for the team, answering routine enquiries, assessing the nature of telephone calls and emails, actioning them appropriately or referring to the appropriate person in liaison with colleagues.
* Occasionally assist with receiving visitors in a courteous, prompt and efficient manner.
* Ensure that staff, service users and members of the public who contact the team are dealt with efficiently and consistently.

Qualifications
* Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) including Mathematics and English.
* Previous paid employment or voluntary work experience.
* Background in Adult Social Care and/or Health Care administration.
Experience & Skills
* Experience of a wide range of IT packages including MS Office, ESR systems, and procurement systems.
* Ability to interact courteously and confidently with other people.
* Maintaining confidentiality for colleagues and service users.
* Strong organisational skills.
* Ability to travel across a wide geographical area in a timely and flexible manner at various times of the day, using car, public transport, car‑sharing, etc.
* Ability to communicate in spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.
Knowledge
* Awareness of the services provided by Kent Adult Social Services, Kent County Council, and Health.
* Understanding of Equality and Diversity.
* Understanding of health and safety issues within the workplace.
Ability to Manage
* Ability to manage own time effectively and achieve deadlines.
* Commitment to personal development.

Salary
£24,937 to £26,598 a year (pro rata per annum)
