Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced CE Engineer to support End User Services, providing IMAC, Break/Fix, Moves, and Refresh services. The role involves hands-on support for end-user hardware, printers, and peripherals, ensuring high service quality and adherence to organisational standards and policies.
Location: Chester Business Park, Chester, CH4 9FB
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00 (Weekend overtime may be required)
Contract Duration:
1. Start Date: 05 May 2026
2. End Date: 31 July 2026
3. Daily Rate: A per hour rate, in-scope IR35, of £ PAYE) OR £ (via a Hays approved umbrellapany)
Main Responsibilities
4. Perform IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) activities for end-user devices.
5. Deliver break/fix support for desktops, thin clients, monitors, webcams, and related peripherals.
6. Support user moves and hardware refresh activities.
7. Plan and coordinate hardware refresh activities.
8. Deploy and configure hardware according to standard build and security policies.
9. Perform data backup, migration, and validation during refresh cycles.
10. Provide end-user support during and after deployments.
11. Manage secure hardware collection and disposal, adhering to asset and environmental policies.
The Ideal Candidate
12. Experience in End Userputing / Deskside Support roles.
13. Strong knowledge of IMAC and Break/Fix support.
14. Hands-on experience with PC refresh and deployment projects.
15. Familiarity with printer maintenance and consumables handling.
16. Excellent customer service andmunication skills.
17. Ability to follow documented processes, standards, and policies.
