Fabricator / Welder Location: Taunton, Somerset Salary: £30,800 - £38,000 (dependent on experience & overtime) On behalf of our client, a well-established and highly regarded architectural metalwork and bespoke steel fabrication business based in the South West, we are recruiting for an experienced Fabricator / Welder to join their growing fabrication team. With over 30 years of industry expertise, our client delivers high-quality architectural, secondary, and structural steelwork to main contractors, developers, and private clients across the region. The Role Reporting to the Production Manager, you will work as part of a skilled fabrication team producing a wide range of bespoke metalwork projects. You will be based in a modern, well-equipped workshop where materials are CNC pre-processed to ensure accuracy and consistency. Typical projects include: Feature and access staircases Gantries and walkways Balustrades and handrails Balconies Structural steelwork Bespoke architectural features The Ideal Candidate Minimum of 3 years' experience in MIG/TIG welding and fabrication Apprenticeship or BTEC Level 3 in Welding/Fabrication preferred Able to read and work from fabrication drawings Strong team player with the ability to work independently Self-motivated, punctual, and well organised High attention to detail with a positive attitude Flexible approach with the ability to prioritise workload What's on Offer Competitive salary between £30,800 - £38,000, depending on experience and overtime Long-term opportunity with a respected and stable employer Modern workshop and varied, high-quality project work If you're a skilled Fabricator/Welder looking to join a company that prides itself on quality, craftsmanship, and reputation, we'd like to hear from you.
