We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Speech and Language Support Assistant to join our team, working closely with children in EYFS and KS1 who have Special Educational Needs (SEN).
About the Role:
* Support children with speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN) in small groups and one-to-one.
* Implement individual support plans designed by Speech and Language Therapists and SENCO.
* Use targeted interventions to develop communication, social interaction, and language skills.
* Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to track progress.
* Create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience supporting children with speech, language, and communication needs (essential).
* Knowledge of EYFS and KS1 curriculum.
* Understanding of SEN strategies and interventions.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping children reach their potential.
