Your role as an electrical engineer :
Provide technical clarification and support to resolve supplier and client queries across the design, procurement, and delivery phases.
Monitor the manufacture, testing, and Delivery to Site (DTS) of electrical and radiological equipment, ensuring compliance with contract specifications.
Manage and track contractual risks, design changes, and exemption requests, ensuring project alignment through dedicated tools.
Interface with multiple engineering disciplines to ensure adherence to nuclear standards and radiological protection requirements.
Support technical assessments and participate in on-site validation activities and documentation processes.
Degree in nuclear physics, electrical engineering, or a relevant physics-based discipline.
Proven experience with radioactivity detection systems and nuclear-grade instrumentation.
Understanding of fire detection, instrumentation procurement, and engineering processes in regulated environments.
Strong documentation and technical review skills using structured project tools.
Experience working on radiological protection systems, equipment handovers, and nuclear project delivery.
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nuclear Physics, Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or a related technical field.
Professional training or certification in nuclear instrumentation, radioprotection, or electrical safety standards is advantageous.
Exposure to UK nuclear industry practices and associated regulatory frameworks is beneficial.
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in nuclear engineering or instrumentation design is a plus.
