Lecturer in Welding & Fabrication (Ref. No. L732)
Full-Time/Permanent/Altens Campus
Salary: £40,170.00 - £48,357.00 per annum

Applicants must be qualified to SVQ level 3 and hold a National certificate in Welding and Fabrication or equivalent (SCQF Level 5). It is essential that candidates have coded welding experience with GMAW, FCAW, GTAW and SMAW.
Experience of teaching is not essential but you will be contracted to obtain TQFE (Teaching Qualification in Further Education) once employment has commenced if you do not already hold a relevant teaching qualification.

8. * Knowledge and/or experience of the use of electronic learning materials
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
9. SVQ Level 3 and National Certificate in Welding and Fabrication (or Equivalent SCQF Level 5)
10. Up to date knowledge of current welding practices
11. Coded welding experience with GMAW, FCAW, GTAW and SMAW.
12. Fabrication skills with the use of oxy fuel and plasma cutting equipment.
13. Teaching or training experience
14. * Teaching qualification (TQFE or equivalent)

17. * ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence)
