No. L732) Full-Time/Permanent/Altens Campus Salary: £40,170.00 - £48,357.00 per annum If you are enthusiastic about Welding and Fabrication and training people to work in Engineering professions, are a highly effective team player who actively assists colleagues and have the ability to pass on knowledge and skills to students, we want you to come and join our team. Applicants must be qualified to SVQ level 3 and hold a National certificate in Welding and Fabrication or equivalent (SCQF Level 5). It is essential that candidates have coded welding experience with GMAW, FCAW, GTAW and SMAW. Experience of teaching is not essential but you will be contracted to obtain TQFE (Teaching Qualification in Further Education) once employment has commenced if you do not already hold a relevant teaching qualification. Fabrication skills with the use of oxy fuel and plasma cutting equipment.
