This is a role for a Financial Controller who wants influence, autonomy and the chance to build something lasting.
You'll be joining a well-established, design-led commercial interiors and fit-out business with a turnover of c.£4m and over four decades of trading history. Privately owned and values-driven, the business specialises in creating inspiring, functional spaces that enhance wellbeing and connection, blending creative design with practical delivery. With a strong order book and clear growth plans, they are now entering the next stage of their development.
As Financial Controller, you will be the first dedicated finance professional in the business, taking full ownership of the finance function and working closely with the senior leadership team. This is a hands-on role covering management accounts, forecasting, cashflow, controls and statutory reporting, while also providing the commercial insight needed to support strategic decision-making. As the business scales, you'll have the opportunity to build systems, improve processes and ultimately recruit and lead a small finance team.
