Childcare and Education Worker, Lochgoilhead Primary Pre Five

The role of the Childcare and Education Worker is to provide compassionate and high quality support to children within our ELC. Education and Childcare Workers are responsible for the personal care needs of pupils. Along with our other Childcare and Education Worker/ Headteacher they should assist pupils with specific learning activities to follow instructions. They would direct/assist Additional Support Needs assistant or Classroom Assistants with their role in supporting children. Education and Childcare Workers will provide supervision for pupils in the ELC indoors and outdoors, out for walks and on trips, corridors, main hall etc.
