Job Role – Software Tester and Project Co-ordinator
Reporting To - Applications Manager
Role Purpose
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Software Tester and Project Co-ordinator. This hybrid role combines the responsibilities of software testing with project coordination to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, excellent project management skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Liaise with Business Stakeholders: Obtain and understand business requirements by liaising with stakeholders to ensure change or project objectives are clearly defined and met.
* Create Test Cases: Develop comprehensive test cases based on business specifications to ensure thorough testing of software applications.
* Test Execution: Perform manual and automated testing to identify and document defects, ensuring software quality and functionality.
* Project Management: Utilise Azure DevOps project management software to plan, track, and manage project tasks and timelines.
* Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with team members and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and issues.
* Collaboration: Work collaboratively within a team environment to achieve project goals and deliverables.
* Attention to Detail: Ensure meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of testing and project coordination.
Required Skills
* Proven experience in software testing, including the creation of test cases and execution of manual and automated tests.
* Proficiency in using Azure DevOps or other project management software.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong ability to work effectively in a team setting.
* Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
