Overview
The Installation and Service Engineer is required to perform a varied and technically challenging role. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established company with a global reputation during a busy period of growth. The role offers the opportunity to boost earnings in overtime.
Role
* Commissioning, installing, and troubleshooting automated machinery
* 50:50 site‑based and travel duty – national and international travel to client sites
* Working week: Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:30 while at the factory; hours can vary while travelling and on site
Responsibilities
• Install and service machinery on a global basis.
• Spend approximately 50 % of time at the company site in Ipswich and 50 % travelling to customer sites to install, service, conduct training, and maintain machinery.
• Installation and travel may vary depending on projects; you can expect to spend up to two weeks away at a given time, depending on the size of the installation.
Candidate Profile
* Experience with automated machinery
* Any production / manufacturing background
* Knowledge of PLCs and electro‑mechanical engineering
