Job Title: Buyer Location: Telford Hours: Monday to Friday Key Responsibilities: Manage the full purchasing process, including sourcing quotes, assessing suppliers, and raising purchase orders efficiently. Protect production continuity by closely monitoring delivery schedules and preventing supply disruptions. Ensure all materials meet required specifications, quality standards, and compliance requirements. Resolve pricing discrepancies, delivery delays, and non-conformance issues swiftly and effectively. Proactively chase, expedite, and track orders with suppliers. Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation to ensure audit readiness and full traceability. Experience & Requirements: Strong negotiation skills with clear, professional communication. Experience using MRP / ERP / SAP systems. Experience purchasing electrical components is desirable. Strong attention to detail with a collaborative, solutions focused mindset. Calm, organised, and effective when working in a fast-moving, high-pressure setting. Thank you for your application.
