Business Development Manager
Location: West Midlands (field-based, 1–2 days in office)
Salary: Up to £60,000 + commission | Company car provided

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to join a fast-growing, family-run fresh produce business, helping drive growth into new categories and retail partners across the UK.
What you’ll do
* Target and secure new retail accounts across the UK
* Build lasting relationships with senior buyers and decision-makers
* Identify opportunities to expand presence in existing retail accounts
* Represent the business at customer meetings, events, and networking opportunities
* Work independently, managing your own schedule and territory
About you
* Proven experience in retail business development or sales
* Strong relationship-building skills and a lively, resilient personality
* Comfortable with proactive, field-based selling and tackling new business challenges
* Food manufacturing or FMCG experience is a big advantage, but retail account experience is essential
