Job Introduction
Bamboo Connect Ltd. is an international mobile phone distributor offering a range of services such as fulfilment, salvage management, and recycling solutions. With a dedicated management team boasting over 50 years of combined experience in the mobile industry, Bamboo is a trusted partner known for adding value throughout the supply chain. The company works with various Mobile Insurance partners delivering complex product and service solutions.
Responsible for accurately assembling and packaging kits according to specific device model requirements. Close attention to detail, strong coordination with accessory departments, and a commitment to maintaining quality and cleanliness within a warehouse or workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities
Kit Assembly & Packaging:
* Follow detailed instructions for re-kitting and packaging requirements specific to each phone model.
* Assemble kits to the required specifications with a high degree of accuracy and consistency.
* Operate within defined company standards and complete tasks within required timeframes.
Coordination & Communication:
* Liaise with the Accessory Department to manage surplus or required components.
* Communicate effectively with team members and escalate any issues or shortages to the line manager promptly.
* Act as a supportive and reliable member of the team to encourage a collaborative work environment.
Quality, Accuracy & Output:
* Work with precision and maintain high quality standards in all re-kitting and packaging tasks.
* Achieve personal productivity targets while ensuring kits are completed to specification.
* Perform quality checks to ensure all items are correctly packaged and complete.
Work Environment & Health & Safety:
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment at all times.
* Assist in general workshop or warehouse maintenance to support Health and Safety policy compliance.
Training & Development:
* Participate in training related to re-kitting procedures, processing, software tools and compliance, Health and Safety Training as required.
Ad-Hoc Duties:
* Support the line manager as needed.
* Contribute to additional duties or responsibilities as required by the business.
