Job Description
A large multi-entity organisation is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join their finance team on a temporary basis. This role involves delivering accurate financial reporting, strengthening controls, and supporting year-end processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce monthly accounts to trial balance, including all reconciliations.
* Support year-end audit and prepare statutory accounts.
* Maintain fixed asset registers and oversee depreciation postings.
* Lead VAT returns, CIS submissions and P11Ds.
* Ensure strong financial controls across multiple entities.
* Support supplier set-ups, due diligence checks and treasury processes.
* Provide guidance to junior team members.
About You
* Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, ACA or equivalent).
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar financial accounting role.
* Strong reconciliation and analytical skills; advanced Excel essential.
* Experience supervising or developing a small team.
* Housing or care sector experience desirable.
