Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities within a chosen class (e.g., Marine, Aviation or other specialty lines). Manage and retain client relationships, delivering high-quality service and maintaining client trust. Place risks into the Lloyd's and Company markets and negotiate competitive terms with underwriters. Work closely with account technicians and junior brokers to ensure seamless service. Represent the firm in market events and build internal/external relationships. Desirable Attributes Minimum 7 years' experience in broking or underwriting within the Lloyd's and London market. Strong technical knowledge in one or more specialty classes (Marine, Aviation, PI, Technology or similar). Proven ability to develop business and build client relationships. Existing market contacts and, ideally, a transferable portfolio (non-competes respected). Entrepreneurial mindset - comfortable in a smaller independent firm, motivated by performance, autonomy and delivering client excellence. Personality and work ethic valued over formal education - strong communication, initiative and attention to detail are key.
