Job Description
The Marine & Helicopter Coordinator plays a key role in supporting offshore operations during the construction of an offshore wind farm, ensuring safe vessel and helicopter movements, effective emergency response, and reliable offshore personnel tracking. The role involves day and night shifts, weekend work, and a rotation pattern of 12-hour shifts (1 week on/1 week off or 2 weeks on/2 weeks off), with additional ad-hoc shifts possible.

Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate emergency response and liaise with project teams and external agencies.
* Manage vessel and helicopter traffic in line with agreed offshore protocols.
* Track offshore personnel, vessels, and communications.
* Oversee WTG access restrictions and daily vessel allocation.
* Operate offshore management systems, ensuring correct personnel certification and asset status.
* Monitor weather data, provide operational advice, and maintain relationships with weather data providers.
* Liaise with local stakeholders and support statutory reporting (pollution, lighting, vessel infringements).
* Support marine surveillance, vessel avoidance, and general offshore safety compliance.
