Our client, a well-established and growing manufacturing business, is seeking a commercially driven Sales & Account Executive to join their team in St Leonards-on-Sea. The Role An exciting opportunity for a commercially driven Sales professional to manage and grow key customer accounts while actively developing new business within a precision engineering environment. This role combines account management, business development, and close collaboration with internal production teams to drive revenue growth and service excellence. Key Responsibilities: Act as the primary commercial contact for existing customers, ensuring strong relationships and high retention Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned to company capabilities Prepare quotations and proposals, negotiate terms, and secure new contracts Liaise with production, scheduling, and quality teams to ensure on-time delivery Convert enquiries into confirmed orders and proactively follow up outstanding quotes Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and performance reporting Attend industry events and networking opportunities to expand the customer base Identify opportunities to upsell additional services and solutionsKey Experience Experience in a sales or account management role within manufacturing, engineering, or a technical B2B environment Proven ability to grow existing accounts and win new business Strong background engaging with OEMs, subcontractors, or technical customers Understanding of CNC machining or engineering processes advantageous Confident user of CRM systems with accurate sales reporting skillsPackage £30,000 – £40,000 DOE performance-related bonus Full-time, 38 hours per week (8:00am – 5:00pm with an early finish on Fridays) Excellent development and progression opportunities Stable, supportive working environment within an established business
