My client is a highly respected, RCVS-accredited small animal hospital based in central Brighton. With over 45 years of outstanding service to the region’s pets, they are proud of their reputation for delivering exceptional care. The hospital forms the hub of a group that includes five fully equipped branch practices and provides out-of-hours services for multiple other local clinics.
This is a full-time position, offering a 4-day working week with 1 in 5 weekends and a Monday off in lieu. You’ll enjoy a varied and interesting caseload, with both emergency and advanced medical cases referred from across their network. The hospital is purpose-built and impressively equipped, including a CT scanner, digital x-ray, ultrasound, laparoscopy, endoscopy, and a fully equipped in-house lab. The facilities also include dedicated cat, dog, exotic, isolation, and day procedure wards, supported by an exceptional nursing and admin team.
You’ll be working alongside a highly experienced and friendly team, including multiple certificate holders across a range of specialisms such as orthopaedics, ophthalmology, imaging, and exotics. The hospital also benefits from a full out-of-hours team, allowing for seamless patient care and ensuring a healthy work-life balance for the day team. The practice is deeply committed to staff development and encourages both in-house and external CPD to support career progression and clinical interests.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced, approachable, and team-oriented Veterinary Surgeon who values client care as highly as clinical excellence.

The Package:
• Salary of £45,000 - £58,000 depending on experience
