- Heating Fitter South Manchester Social Housing Permanent £33,000 van & fuel card We are working with a leading Repairs and Maintenance Contractor within the Social Housing sector to recruit a Plumber / Heating fitter to join their team in South Manchester Working to deliver the best quality service, youll be carrying out replacement of the central heating and hot water systems to domestic properties which will include pipework, radiators, hot water cylinders, valves and insulation.
Youll receive and complete assigned tasks using a handheld device (full training), working efficiently and safety in line with best practice to achieve excellent customer experience.
Qualifications/Experience Required: Previous experience within a similar role, youll have the ability to work in all weather, operating small hand tools and will be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
Youll have excellent working H & S knowledge and knowledge of communal district heating and hot water supplies.
Ideally you will have a social/local authority housing background.
Essential Qualifications Required: Appropriate Level 2 NVQ/SVQ; Level 2 NVQ Diploma or equivalent qualifications in Domestic Heating or Heating & Ventilation JIB PMES Heating Fitter Blue Card or working towards.
You must hold a valid full or automatic UK driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months as a company vehicle will be provided (work use only).
The role offers the opportunity for paid out of hours callouts. xjlbheb

Experience using a PDA, good IT skills with experience using job scheduling software Willingness to undertake a DBS check
